Head out to your garden...it's time for our annual Flower Ceremony!!
On June 17, our final worship service of the church year, we will be sharing this annual ritual to honor the blessing of community. Every person is invited to bring one or two flowers to church, whether purchased or picked from your own garden.
During the service, we will bring forward the flowers we have brought to celebrate the "bouquet" of our community, then each person will choose one NEW flower from the vase to bring home.
In this way, we are both giving and receiving a gift and reminding one another that though we will be separated for the summer, we are still connected. So mark your calendar and bring a flower!
Saturday, June 2, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Wow, it's almost May already and June is just around the corner.
This also means our Annual Spring Fair is around the corner.
This is a Rain or Shine event. We are looking for Baked Items, Plants, Books and White Elephant items to fill the front lawn.
If it happens to rain, we do this event inside in Fellowship Hall.
We also need many, many hands on the morning of (7:30 a.m.), throughout the day (9-2) and at the end of the day (1:30ish) to make this event a success.
Please see Brenda Martin with questions.
Please see Ed DiCastro to sign up for set-up and breakdown
Please see Carol Russell for donations to the Baked Items
Please see Mary Lynch for donations to the Book area
Please see Sue Ferguson for Jewelry donations
Please bring your White Elephant items, PRICED, beginning on May 6, to be stored under the stairs in the church.
